Support Us
Family Footings is a project by MacIntyre, a national charity providing support to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities since 1966.
The Family Footings project is not covered by MacIntyre’s statutory funding, so we are relying on grants and charitable funds. We were delighted to receive a grant from the Department for Education for 2011, but we are looking for additional funds to ensure that this important project can continue into 2013.
The ways you can support us
The easiest and quickest way to support us is to share our website and online resources with your friends. You can do it through Facebook, Twitter or simply by emailing the link to the website. If you like our short films on YouTube, share them as well!
Make a donation
Money that you donate to Family Footings will not be used for any other services. Your donation will:
- help our Facilitators, Parent Co-producers and Volunteers reach more families
- enable us to get more training resources for workshops
- further develop and maintain our website
Making a donation is as easy as going to our Virgin Giving page .
You can also send a cheque payable to Family Footings to Sue Ball, MacIntyre, 602 South Seventh Street, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 2JA.
Organise a fundraising event
MacIntyre’s fundraising team organise a number of events each year. You could take part and ask that funds be donated specifically to the Family Footings project.
